How This Rear Brake Caliper Works

This caliper converts hydraulic pressure from the brake system into mechanical clamping force via a 41mm piston, pressing the brake pads against the solid rear disc to slow the vehicle.

The integrated parking brake mechanism uses an internal screw and lever system, allowing the handbrake cable to mechanically apply the brake pads when parked. Correct adjustment and free movement are essential to ensure reliable handbrake performance and even pad wear.
