G2 Front Engine Mount

This front engine hydro-mounting is designed to reduce engine vibrations and provide smooth engine support for Mk2 Golf and Jetta models. Made to OEM specifications, this mount ensures durability and reliability, effectively absorbing engine movement and minimizing strain on surrounding components.

Important Fitment Note: This mounting will not fit late GTI models (1988 onwards) with Digifant injection or G60 models. For these models, please use part number 357199279B.

Installation Notes:

1. Support the Engine: Use a jack or engine hoist to support the engine’s weight before removing the old mount.
2. Remove the Old Mount: Unbolt and carefully detach the worn mount.
3. Install the New Mount: Position it correctly and secure it with the appropriate bolts.
4. Torque to Manufacturer Specifications: Ensure the mount is tightened to the correct torque settings.
5. Check for Proper Alignment: Start the engine and verify there are no excessive vibrations or movement.
