Type 181 Windscreen Frame Lower Repair (LHD Models)

The bottom section of the windscreen frame on all VW Type 181 models is particularly susceptible to rust and corrosion due to its exposed position and tendency to trap moisture. This top-quality repair panel allows you to restore structural integrity and appearance to your windscreen surround without needing to source or fabricate a full frame.

Designed for Left Hand Drive Type 181s, this panel replaces the entire lower section of the windscreen frame and includes all key pressings. You must reuse your original hinges and base plates to attach the windscreen to the body, as these are not supplied with the panel.

Note for Iltis owners: If fitting this panel to an Iltis, you will need to enlarge the wiper spindle holes slightly to allow correct fitment of the wiper mechanism.
