G1 Tailgate Gas Strut - Hatchback Models

This rear tailgate gas strut is a direct replacement for all Volkswagen Golf Mk1 Hatchback models, designed to safely and smoothly support the tailgate when opening and closing. It provides the correct level of lifting assistance and control, preventing the tailgate from dropping or slamming shut.

With an extension force of 470N, this gas spring delivers strong, steady support comparable to the original factory specification. It is suitable for installation on both sides of the tailgate for balanced lifting performance.
