G1 Cabrio Fuel Filler Neck

This replacement fuel filler neck is designed for VW Mk1 Golf Cabriolet models from 1984 (Chassis No. 15-E-011 291) to the end of production in 1993. Constructed to match the later-style filler configuration, this unit connects the fuel cap housing to the tank inlet and provides a sealed path for clean, safe fuel delivery.

Please Note: Throughout production, there were slight variations in fuel tank neck fitment, and this part may not suit every car directly. On some models, the neck connects to the tank perfectly, but others will require a short rubber extension hose, sold separately under part number 533201219, to bridge the gap where it meets the tank inlet.

Additionally, this filler neck is not compatible with reproduction fuel caps. It must be used with your original Genuine VW fuel cap, as aftermarket caps do not engage correctly. If you do not have the original cap, we recommend sourcing a second-hand OEM one for a proper seal.

Ideal for restoring a rusted or leaking filler neck, especially on older Cabriolets where corrosion around the tank connection is common.
