Karmann Ghia Fuel Filler Neck Seal - 1968-74

This fuel filler neck seal is a high-quality replacement for all Volkswagen Karmann Ghias manufactured from August 1967 onwards. Located around the filler neck where it passes through the front wing, this rubber seal prevents dirt, water and road debris from entering the fuel filler recess while also stopping fuel vapours from escaping into the body cavity.

Over time, the original seal becomes brittle, shrinks, cracks or splits—leading to moisture ingress, paint damage, fuel smells and potential corrosion around the filler area. This replacement seal restores a tight, factory-correct fit and helps protect the bodywork and paint beneath the filler cap.

Moulded from durable fuel-resistant rubber, the seal fits neatly into the wing aperture and compresses around the filler neck for a clean appearance. Suitable for both RHD and LHD models, it is an essential replacement part for any restoration, repaint, or maintenance work involving the fuel system.
