US Spec Beetle Bumper Kit - 1975-79

This rubber impact strip is used on the front bumper of all US Spec Cabrio Beetles from August 1974 to the end of production.

This seal covers the hole around the bumper bracket in the panel on the vehicle.

For use on all US Spec Cabrio Beetles from August 1974 onwards with shock absorbing bumper brackets.

For use on the Front Only.

These are sold as “Sunny Climate Chrome” in other words these will rust or oxidise within months in the UK climate, but with regular cleaning and waxing, they will stay shiny and last significantly longer

These bumpers are designed to be used with Bumper impact brackets.

This rubber impact strip is found on the rear bumper of all US Spec Beetles from August 1974 onwards.

These bumpers feature telescopic bumper irons the compress on impact.  The bumpers are thicker that the European versions and therefore the impact strip is also thicker.
