Beetle Front Stub Axle Nut - 1966-79 - Left

This replacement front brake drum spindle nut is specifically designed to secure the brake drum to the front spindle on the left-hand side of classic Volkswagens equipped with ball joint front suspension. It is a direct-fit replacement for worn or damaged nuts on VW Beetles, Karmann Ghias, and Type 3 models from 1966 to 1979.
A small but essential component in the front brake assembly, this nut plays a vital role in holding the drum in position and ensuring safe, reliable wheel and brake function. Over time, the original nut may wear out or become stripped, especially during brake servicing. Replacing it with a new one ensures proper torque retention and long-term safety.
This part fits the left (near side) spindle only and is sold separately. For a complete brake service, consider inspecting and replacing both left and right side spindle nuts, along with drum bearings and seals if necessary.
