1302 + 1303 Beetle Steering Box - RHD

Restore safe and responsive steering to your classic VW with this brand new replacement steering box, specifically designed for Right Hand Drive VW 1302 and 1303 Beetles manufactured between 1970 and 1973. Built to match the factory unit in both dimensions and function, this good quality reproduction steering box is a direct fit, making it an ideal solution for worn, loose, or leaking originals.

Each unit is factory pre-adjusted to remove internal play, ensuring smooth operation out of the box. However, from experience, we’ve found that some units may require a small amount of additional adjustment before installation. Please make sure the box is tightened correctly before fitting to avoid excessive free play or vague steering feel.

This part is suitable only for RHD (Right Hand Drive) models and is not compatible with earlier beam suspension Beetles or LHD vehicles.
