Beetle 1 Screw Headlight Rim - 1974-79 (Also Baywindow Bus)

This replacement headlamp rim is a reproduction part with a single screw fixing, designed to fit VW Beetles and Baywindow Buses from 1974 to 1979, as well as VW Trekkers and Buggy/Baja conversions from the same era. It is ideal for vehicles using late-style headlamp assemblies, where the headlight adjustment is done behind the rim, not on the rim itself.

Although originally fitted to later models, this style of rim is commonly found on earlier vehicles that have undergone front-end bodywork or headlight replacements. For correct fitment, please verify that your current headlamp uses a single screw at the bottom of the rim—as opposed to the earlier 3-screw design, which is not compatible with this rim.

This rim is finished in “Sunny Climate Chrome”, a single-layer chrome plating intended for dry, warm climates. As such, it comes with no warranty on the finish when used in humid or damp climates like the UK. Without regular care, it may rust or oxidise within months. However, frequent cleaning and waxing will help maintain its shine and prolong its life.
