This replacement plastic surround is designed to neatly finish the area around the tilt-release handle on the front seats of classic Volkswagen Beetles, including both Sedan and Cabriolet models from 1968 to 1971.
Located where the tilt handle meets the seat frame, this trim piece helps secure the handle in place and gives the seat a factory-finished appearance. Over time, these plastic surrounds can become brittle, cracked, or go missing entirely due to age and use. This direct-fit reproduction makes it easy to restore the look and functionality of your Beetle`s front seats.
Made from durable molded plastic to replicate the original part, this surround is simple to install and is sold individually. Each front seat requires one surround—order two if you`re restoring both seats.
