Restore clean lines and weather protection to your classic Beetle with this left outer window scraper, featuring a sleek black aluminium trim. Originally fitted to VW Mexico Beetles, this black version has become a popular upgrade for all VW Beetles from 1965 to 1979, including the 1302 and 1303 models.
The window scraper is a vital component that seals the gap between the door and the window glass, preventing water, dirt, and debris from entering the door cavity. It also helps keep the glass clean as it moves up and down. This particular scraper is manufactured to good quality standards and comes pre-attached to a black anodised aluminium trim, providing both functionality and a subtle modern aesthetic that blends nicely with classic and custom builds alike.
Despite being a Mexico model part, it shares identical dimensions with the European-spec scrapers and installs with no modifications. It’s an excellent choice whether you`re restoring to factory appearance or prefer the clean look of black trim over traditional chrome.
