Beetle Rear Suspension Panel - 1968-79 - Left (Also Karmann Ghia)

This rear left inner arch suspension panel is a reproduction repair panel designed to fit all Volkswagen Beetles and Karmann Ghias produced after August 1967. Positioned inside the rear wheel arch, this panel forms part of the suspension mounting structure and provides vital support for the torsion housing, shock absorber mount, and the surrounding chassis panels.

Over time, this area is particularly prone to corrosion from trapped mud, moisture, and road salt. Rust in this section can compromise suspension alignment, shock absorber strength, and even the structural integrity of the chassis. This replacement panel restores the correct shape, thickness, and strength of the factory metal, ensuring a safe and long-lasting repair.

The panel is designed for welding into place on the left (passenger side on RHD models). It integrates seamlessly with the rear quarter, engine bay side panels, suspension housing, and torsion tube area.
