Beetle IRS Rear Torsion Bar Cover

This Type 1 standard torsion bar cover is a high-quality reproduction of the original part used on IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) Volkswagen models. Essential for the proper functioning of the rear suspension, these covers secure the torsion bars in place and help eliminate unwanted play or movement, ensuring a tight and stable suspension setup for reliable handling and ride quality.

Manufactured to replicate the original factory design, this torsion bar cover is a direct replacement for worn or corroded units and fits snugly over the torsion bar housing. It is compatible with most IRS-equipped air-cooled VWs, but does not include the bolt spacers required on some models. If your vehicle originally used these spacers, you`ll need to reuse the originals or source replacements separately.

Each cover is sold individually, and you will need two per vehicle—one for each side of the rear suspension.
