1302 + 1303 Beetle Front Shock Absorber Insert - 1971-73 (3 Bolt Strut)

Replacement COFAP front oil-filled strut insert for Volkswagen 1302 and early 1303 Beetle models fitted with the 3-bolt front suspension strut assembly.

Designed as a direct replacement for worn or leaking original inserts, this shock absorber restores ride quality, steering control and braking stability. As the insert wears, the front suspension can become bouncy, unstable and less responsive, particularly during cornering and braking. Replacing worn inserts helps return the vehicle to its original handling characteristics.

This insert fits both left and right-hand sides and is suitable for the early 3-bolt strut assembly used from 1971 to 1973. It is not handed, allowing installation on either side of the vehicle.
