Chromed Stainless Steel Tailpipe - Type 1 Engines

This top-quality chromed stainless steel tailpipe is a premium replacement for the original mild-steel tailpipes fitted to Volkswagen Beetle and Karmann Ghia models with 1200cc to 1600cc engines. Designed to fit all standard twin-exit exhaust systems, this tailpipe adds a bright, polished finish while offering superior durability and corrosion resistance.

Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel and polished to a mirror chrome finish, this tailpipe not only enhances the classic look of your aircooled VW but also resists rust and discoloration even under harsh driving conditions. It produces a clean, period-correct exhaust note with a crisp tone typical of the classic Beetle and Ghia engines.

Each tailpipe is approximately 250mm long (length may vary slightly depending on supplier) and is designed for easy installation using a tailpipe fitting kit (sold separately). You will need one fitting kit per tailpipe – see part number 111298051BBT.
