Type 1 Valve Spring (Not 25HP Or 30HP Engines)

This standard replacement valve spring is designed to fit all VW aircooled engines from 1200cc to 1600cc, produced from 1960 onwards. Built to OEM specifications, it ensures optimal valve control and longevity under standard operating conditions. Manufactured from high-tensile spring steel, each spring provides consistent tension and durability to maintain correct valve operation through thousands of engine cycles. This part is not suitable for Type 4 engines or 25HP/30HP engines made before 1960.

Each engine requires 8 valve springs (2 per cylinder), so make sure to order the correct quantity. These springs are compatible with all original-style rocker, pushrod, and valve setups used across VW’s classic aircooled lineup.
