This high-quality replacement speedometer cable is designed specifically for right-hand drive (RHD) classic Volkswagen models, ensuring accurate speedometer function and smooth operation. With a total length of 1545mm, this cable transmits the rotational movement from the front wheel to the speedometer, giving real-time speed readings while driving.

Suitable for RHD VW Beetles from 1957 to August 1979 (excluding the 1302 and 1303 models), RHD Type 3 models from 1961 to 1973, and the VW Trekker from 1968 to 1983, this cable is a direct replacement and offers a reliable fit and function. Left-hand drive Type 3 models are not compatible with this cable and instead require a Karmann Ghia-type speedo cable.
