This single plate chrome headlight rim is a reproduction of the classic “20 past 8” style rim, named for the distinctive screw positions at approximately 20 minutes past 8 on a clock face.
Designed to fit VW Beetles and Splitscreen Buses produced up to 1967, this rim captures the authentic early VW appearance. It is manufactured in reproduction “Sunny Climate Chrome,” which provides a bright finish ideal for display or fair-weather vehicles. However, please note that this type of chrome is not intended for damp or salted road conditions.
Important Warranty Note:
There is NO finish warranty on these rims, as the chrome is known to rust or oxidise quickly in UK and northern European climates. Regular cleaning and frequent waxing can prolong their appearance and help keep them shiny longer.
This rim is sold individually and does not include mounting or adjusting screws.
