Hi guys i have a uk RHD 56 beetle but i can't lock the passenger side door from the inside ,i can the drivers side so think i have a LHD lock set in my doors as they are not original to my car. I can lock my drivers side via a key or by pushing inside handle forward but passenger side as no key in handle only way to lock is by pushing interior handle forward but it won't move. I 'm thinking i need this LHD lock 11837015B for that door to work . Does that sound right ?

What you have fitted in your Bug is a LHD lock mechanism which is what this is. So it will not correct your problem. You will need to find a RHD lock machanism for the left hand door to allow you to push the handle forward and lock from the inside. These are not available new and you will have to find one second hand. The only way you can lock the door without this is to fit an external handle which has a key with it on the left hand door.
