Beetle Heat Exchanger To Chassis Heater Muffler - 1961-64 (370mm X 50mm X 60mm)

This heater muffler is a vital component in the heating system of VW Beetles and Karmann Ghias produced between 1961 and 1964, directing warm air from the heat exchanger through the chassis and into the cabin. Installed between the heat exchanger and the vehicle’s body, this part ensures proper airflow and heat distribution, particularly important in colder climates or for demisting the windscreen.
This good quality reproduction is built to original specifications and fits securely using its 370mm length and two different diameter ends:
50mm opening on one end
60mm opening on the other
These diameter differences help ensure a snug connection between the heat exchanger and chassis tube.
⚠️ Important Note: Due to the high number of classic VWs with non-original engines and heat exchangers, it is strongly recommended to measure your existing heater muffler before ordering. Misfitted or mismatched parts from previous repairs can result in poor sealing, reduced heating performance, or installation issues.
