Beetle Front Cross Panel Outer Skin - 1961-67 (LHD Models)

This outer skin for the front cross panel is a high-quality reproduction firewall section designed for Volkswagen Beetles manufactured between 1961 and 1967. This panel welds directly to the rear of the front cross panel, completing the lower bulkhead structure and forming the vertical firewall surface between the front trunk and the interior cabin.

On 1961–67 Beetles, this area is well-known for rusting due to moisture retention, brake fluid leaks, and decades of pedal-cluster stress. This replacement panel restores the correct shape and structure from the top of the cross panel all the way up to the underside of the dashboard, ensuring a complete and factory-correct bulkhead rebuild.

Manufactured in LHD configuration, it can be easily modified for RHD applications by relocating or adjusting the pedal, master cylinder, and grommet openings. Supplied in raw bare steel, the panel is ready for trimming, test-fitting, welding and finishing during the restoration process.

Built to accurate dimensions with factory-style pressings, this panel ensures proper alignment of the pedal assembly, front floor sections, Napoleon hat and dashboard lower edge—critical for achieving correct fitment on show-quality restorations and structural repairs.
