Beetle Inner Front Cross Panel - 1953-57 (LHD Models)

This front cross panel, also known as the bulkhead behind the pedals, is a top-quality replacement section for Volkswagen Beetles made between 1953 and 1957. Sitting directly on top of the Napoleon hat, this panel forms a crucial structural component of the front floor area, supporting the pedal assembly, master cylinder mounting area and lower firewall.

Manufactured by DKB in the USA, the panel features accurate pressings, correct metal thickness and precise detailing to match the original early Oval-era design. It is produced in Left Hand Drive configuration, but can easily be adapted to fit Right Hand Drive models, making it suitable for a wide range of restoration projects.

This raw, bare-metal panel is ready for test fitting, trimming, drilling (if adapting for RHD), welding and finishing. It is ideal for restorations where the lower bulkhead has suffered from corrosion, pedal area fatigue, battery acid damage or previous poor-quality repairs.
