This replacement front brake drum is a good quality reproduction designed for VW Beetles and Karmann Ghias from 1968 onwards that are fitted with front drum brakes. It features the 4-stud (4×130 PCD) bolt pattern used on standard late-model aircooled VWs and is a direct-fit replacement for worn or damaged original drums.
This drum is not suitable for 1302 or 1303 Super Beetles, which were equipped with a different front suspension and braking setup. Ideal for standard Beetles, Ghias, and VW-based Buggies and Bajas, this brake drum helps restore safe, smooth, and consistent braking performance.
For best results and to ensure even braking across the front axle, it is recommended to replace brake drums in pairs.
Fitment Notes:
4×130 PCD bolt pattern
Fits vehicles with front drum brakes only
Not for use on MacPherson strut models (1302/1303)
