T4 Catalytic Converter Repair Pipe - 1996-03 - 2.5TDI

This catalytic converter repair pipe is designed for VW T4 diesel models and fits in the front section of the exhaust system, directly before the catalytic converter. Over time, this section of pipe is prone to corrosion, exhaust leaks and cracking, especially on higher-mileage vans. A leaking front pipe can cause excessive noise, MOT emissions failures and loss of turbo efficiency on TDI engines. This repair section restores a sealed, correctly-flowing exhaust path without the cost of replacing the full system.

Manufactured from good quality steel and formed to the correct shape and length, this pipe is suitable for both Short Wheel Base (SWB) and Long Wheel Base (LWB) T4 models equipped with a catalytic converter. It is a direct-fit replacement for the original front pipe on the engines listed below, requiring no modification to install.

Suitable for both 1.9TD and 2.5TDI variants, as well as the later 2.4D (AJA) engines. Simply remove the corroded front section and install this replacement using standard clamps and fittings.
