US Spec Beetle EGR Filter Gasket - 1974-79 (AJ Injection System)

Replacement EGR filter gasket for Volkswagen aircooled fuel injected engines fitted with an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) filter, specifically for Beetle AJ injection models (USA specification).

The EGR system recirculates a portion of exhaust gases back into the intake to reduce emissions. This gasket seals the EGR filter housing to prevent exhaust leaks and ensure correct EGR system operation. A leaking EGR gasket can cause exhaust leaks, poor running and emissions issues.

This gasket is a direct replacement part for the original EGR filter gasket used on fuel injected models.
