Type 1 8mm Single Port Head Stud Kit (Not 1200cc Models)

This 8mm cylinder head stud kit is for Volkswagen aircooled 1300cc–1600cc Type 1 single port engines. The kit includes a full set of head studs, nuts and washers required to secure both cylinder heads to the engine case.

Replacing head studs is recommended during engine rebuilds, especially if original studs are corroded, stretched or removed during case work. Correct length studs are important to ensure proper cylinder head torque and sealing.

This kit includes the correct combination of long and short studs used on single port engines.
