T25,G1,G2 Alternator Regulator (For Valeo Or Motorola Alternator)

This voltage regulator fits selected Valeo or Motorola alternators and controls the alternator output to maintain correct charging voltage. It prevents overcharging and undercharging by regulating the current supplied to the rotor, helping protect the battery and electrical system while keeping the battery charged during normal driving.

A faulty regulator can cause the battery warning light to stay on, weak charging, overcharging, dim or fluctuating lights, poor starting, or flat battery problems. Replacing the regulator is often a cost-effective repair when the alternator itself is otherwise serviceable. As it fits Valeo or Motorola units only, you must check the alternator manufacturer before ordering.

When fitting, inspect the alternator brushes, slip rings, wiring terminals, earths, and drive belt condition. On older vehicles, poor connections or worn brushes can create charging faults similar to a failed regulator.
