G3 Power Steering Pump (ZF Steering Systems Only)

This hydraulic power steering pump is designed for Volkswagen models fitted with ZF steering systems and provides the hydraulic pressure required for the power-assisted steering system. The pump is driven by the engine via a belt and supplies pressurised power steering fluid to the steering rack, reducing steering effort and allowing smoother control of the vehicle, especially at low speeds and when parking.

A worn or failing power steering pump can cause heavy steering, whining noises, fluid leaks, juddering steering or inconsistent steering assistance. Replacing a worn pump restores proper hydraulic pressure and smooth steering operation. This pump is suitable for vehicles fitted with ZF steering systems and should be matched accordingly, as different manufacturers such as TRW were also used on some models.

This unit is a direct replacement style pump and is ideal when repairing steering issues, fluid leaks from the pump, or noisy steering operation.
