G3 Water Flange (Water Pump To Radiator Hose) - 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 1.9 Diesel

This coolant flange is fitted in the lower position on the engine, connecting the water pump outlet to the lower radiator hose. It forms part of the main coolant circulation system, allowing coolant to flow from the engine through the radiator and back into the cooling system. This flange is supplied with the O-ring seal, and the retaining clip for the hose connection is available separately under part number 037121142A.

The flange plays an important role in maintaining correct coolant circulation. Coolant leaves the engine via the water pump, passes through this flange and into the radiator hose, where it is cooled before returning to the engine. If this flange becomes cracked, warped, or the O-ring fails, coolant leaks can occur, often showing as a drip from the lower engine area or radiator hose connection. Replacing this flange ensures a proper seal and reliable cooling system operation.
