G3 Water Flange - 1.8, 2.0

This coolant flange mounts to the front of the cylinder head and acts as a central outlet and distribution point for engine coolant. It connects coolant hoses and provides mounting locations for coolant temperature sensors and switches, allowing coolant to circulate correctly between the engine, radiator, and heater system while also supplying temperature readings to the dashboard gauge and engine management system.

Over time, the original plastic flanges become brittle due to constant heat cycles, often causing coolant leaks from the flange body or around the sensor seals. Replacing the flange restores a proper seal and helps prevent coolant loss, overheating, and inaccurate temperature readings.

This flange includes the base seal and is designed for 1.6 and 2.0 petrol engines. Depending on the engine version and sensor setup, you may need a blanking plug (357121140) or, if your vehicle only uses one sensor, you may require the alternative kit 357198140/S. It is also recommended to replace any sensor sealing O-rings when installing this flange.
