G3 Rocker Cover Breather Hose - 2.0 (ADY,AEP,AGG,AKR Engines)

Replacement cylinder head cover breather hose for VW 2.0 8-valve petrol engines including engine codes ADY, AEP, AGG and AKR. This hose connects the rocker (cam) cover to the crankcase ventilation system, allowing blow-by gases and oil vapour to be safely recirculated into the intake.

On high-mileage Mk3 platform engines, breather hoses commonly split, soften or collapse internally due to constant heat and oil exposure. When this happens, symptoms can include rough or hunting idle, oil leaks around the rocker cover, increased oil consumption, vacuum leaks and mixture-related fault codes.

This OE-style oil-resistant replacement hose restores correct crankcase ventilation and helps stabilise idle and engine performance. It is strongly recommended when replacing the rocker cover gasket or carrying out top-end servicing.
