G2 Rocker Cover Gasket - 1.8 - 1988-91 (G60 Models)

High-quality valve cover gasket for selected VW 1.8 G60 (PG/1H) and 2.0 8V petrol engines. This gasket seals the rocker cover to the cylinder head, preventing oil leaks and maintaining correct crankcase pressure control.
Over time, heat cycles and oil exposure cause the original gasket to harden and shrink, leading to oil leaks around the cam cover, burning oil smells, and contamination of spark plug wells. Replacing the valve cover gasket restores a proper seal and helps prevent further oil loss and engine bay contamination.
Manufactured from oil-resistant gasket material to OE specification, this gasket provides a reliable, long-lasting seal. Ideal for routine maintenance, engine refreshes, or when carrying out top-end work such as camshaft, lifter, or cylinder head servicing.
When fitting, ensure mating surfaces are clean and free from old gasket material. Always inspect breather hoses and cam cover bolts at the same time, and replace rubber sealing washers if fitted.
