G4 Timing Belt Tensioner Pulley - 1.4

This timing belt tensioner pulley guides the timing belt and helps maintain correct belt tension as the engine runs. A smooth, free-spinning pulley is essential for keeping the belt tracking correctly across the cam and crank sprockets, preventing belt noise, uneven wear, and premature timing belt failure.

Inside the pulley is a sealed bearing designed to handle constant high-speed rotation and engine heat. As bearings wear, you may hear chirping/whining noises from the belt area, see belt dust, or notice roughness when the pulley is spun by hand. Replacing the pulley during a timing belt service is strongly recommended, as a seized or noisy pulley can cause belt damage and serious engine timing issues.

This pulley is supplied as a single tensioner pulley and is commonly fitted as part of a full timing belt kit.
