G3,G4 Thermostat Housing Top - 1.4-1.6

This thermostat cover with integrated O-ring seal is a direct-fit replacement for a wide range of VW 1.4 and 1.6 petrol engines. The cover secures the thermostat inside the housing and provides a critical sealing surface to prevent coolant leaks where the thermostat assembly meets the engine.

Over time, original thermostat covers can warp, crack, or suffer from hardened seals due to constant heat cycling. This often results in coolant seepage, pressure loss, poor heater performance, or fluctuating engine temperatures.
