G3 Throttle Body - 1.4-1.6

This 44mm electric throttle body is designed for Volkswagen petrol engines fitted with electronic throttle control. It regulates the airflow entering the engine in response to accelerator pedal input, allowing the engine management system to precisely control throttle opening for smooth acceleration, stable idle, and efficient fuel delivery.

Unlike cable-operated systems, this unit uses an electric motor and throttle position sensors to communicate directly with the ECU. Wear, contamination, or electronic failure of the throttle body can lead to poor idle control, hesitation, limp mode, or engine management warning lights. Replacing the throttle body restores correct airflow regulation and drivability.

Important fitting notes:

• Throttle body adaptation or relearn may be required after installation

• Always check electrical connectors and intake seals during replacement
