T4,T5,T6 Clutch Release Fork

This clutch release fork is a direct-replacement component used inside the bellhousing on a wide range of Volkswagen manual gearboxes. Its job is to transfer movement from the clutch slave or cable to the clutch release bearing, allowing the clutch pressure plate to disengage smoothly when the clutch pedal is pressed.

Manufactured from pressed sheet steel and supplied with the retaining spring, this fork restores correct clutch operation where the original has worn, cracked, or become loose at the pivot point. Wear in the release fork can cause poor clutch disengagement, heavy pedal feel, noise when pressing the clutch, or premature release bearing failure.
