2056cc Barrel And Piston Kit - 96mm Big Bore Type 4 Engines (For Use On 2000cc Type 4 Engine)

This 96mm big bore cast barrel and piston kit is designed for 2000cc aircooled Type 4 engines, increasing capacity to 2056cc while retaining stock crankshaft stroke. It’s a popular upgrade for Baywindow and early Type 25 / T3 aircooled engines where extra torque and drivability are wanted without complex machining.

The kit is a straight fit to standard Type 4 crankcases and cylinder heads – no machining required. Pistons feature valve cut-outs, making them suitable for use with higher-lift performance camshafts, offering extra clearance and peace of mind during performance builds.
