228mm Clutch Pressure Plate - Type 4 Engines, Pre 1989 Waterboxer Engines
Part Number: 029141025B
Replacement 228mm clutch pressure plate for late Type 4 aircooled engines and early Waterboxer-powered Type 25 / T3 buses. Designed to provide reliable clamping force, smooth engagement, and dependable drive in both stock and lightly uprated engines.
This pressure plate is commonly used on 2000cc aircooled Type 4 engines and 1900cc / 2100cc Waterboxer engines up to April 1989. Ideal for clutch overhauls where the original unit is worn, slipping, or suffering from judder.
Important: Some early Waterboxer engines were fitted with 215mm clutches. Always check clutch diameter before ordering.
