This diesel leak-off blanking cap is used to seal the end of the injector leak-off (return) pipe on mechanical diesel engines. It closes the final injector in the return circuit, preventing fuel leaks and air ingress that can cause poor starting, rough idle, or diesel smell in the engine bay.
Over time the original rubber caps harden, crack, or split due to heat and diesel exposure. Replacing tired caps is a simple but important maintenance job that helps keep the fuel system leak-free and properly primed, especially on older VW diesel engines.
This cap is suitable for 1.9–2.4 diesel engines using traditional leak-off hose systems and is a direct replacement for the original fitment.
