T4,T5 Throttle Body Gasket - 2.0 + 2.5 Petrol + 2.5 TDI

This throttle body gasket seals the joint between the throttle body and inlet manifold on a wide range of Volkswagen petrol and diesel engines. Its job is to create an airtight seal so that all incoming air is correctly metered by the throttle body, ensuring stable idle, smooth throttle response, and correct fuel mixture.

A worn, hardened, or damaged gasket can allow unmetered air leaks, leading to symptoms such as rough idle, hesitation, poor throttle response, increased fuel consumption, or fault codes related to air/fuel mixture. On diesel engines, air leaks at the throttle body or intake flap housing can also cause poor running and inconsistent EGR operation.

This gasket is a direct replacement and should always be renewed whenever the throttle body is removed for cleaning, EGR work, intake servicing, or engine repairs. Suitable for petrol, diesel, and TDI engines listed below.
