60mm Aluminium Air Hose - 1000mm Long

This aluminium corrugated air hose is used on all air-cooled VW Type 3 variants to transfer cooling air from the engine fan housing down to the exhaust/heat exchanger system. By directing a controlled flow of air over the exhaust components, it supports both effective cabin heating and correct exhaust temperature management—an essential part of the Type 3 cooling and heating system.

Manufactured as a reproduction replacement, this hose offers a durable, heat-resistant alternative to ageing originals. The corrugated aluminium construction allows it to flex easily for accurate routing in the tight Type 3 engine bay, while still maintaining its internal diameter to ensure consistent airflow. At 1000mm long, it can also be trimmed to length and used anywhere a 60mm hose under 1 metre is required, making it useful for custom installations or repairs beyond standard applications.
