Aluminium Air Hose Black 50mm X 1000mm

This 50mm black aluminium corrugated warm-air hose is primarily used on air-cooled Volkswagen engines to connect the fan shroud outlets to the heat exchangers (heater boxes), ensuring correct airflow for cabin heating and stable engine temperatures.

With a 1000mm length and 50mm internal diameter, one hose is typically long enough to cut in half and replace both left and right heater box hoses on Type 1 engines. If also replacing the warm-air pre-heat hose from the air cleaner to the exhaust tinware, a second hose will be required.

Manufactured from corrugated aluminium with a black protective finish, this version offers increased durability compared to traditional cardboard hoses while providing a cleaner, more discreet appearance in the engine bay. The black coating improves resistance to moisture, heat and corrosion and is well suited to regularly driven vehicles or upgraded engines.

The hose may also be used anywhere a 50mm internal diameter air duct is required, making it suitable for a wide range of classic and later Volkswagen applications.
