This 50mm cardboard corrugated warm-air hose is primarily used on air-cooled Volkswagen engines to connect the fan shroud outlets to the heat exchangers (heater boxes), ensuring correct airflow for cabin heating and proper engine cooling.
The hose measures 1000mm long with a 50mm internal diameter. One length is normally sufficient to cut in half and replace both left and right heater box hoses on Type 1 engines. If replacing the air cleaner warm-air pre-heat hose at the same time, a second length will be required.
Manufactured from traditional corrugated paper material, this hose closely replicates the original factory fitment used across classic VW air-cooled models. It can also be used anywhere a 50mm ID warm-air duct is required, including selected water-cooled applications.
