T4,G3 Crankshaft Pulley - 1.9 Diesel (ABL)

This lower crankshaft pulley and vibration damper bolts to the front of the crankshaft and drives the auxiliary belt (6-rib) for systems such as the alternator, power steering and (where fitted) air conditioning. Built with an integrated vibration absorber, it also helps damp torsional crank vibrations that naturally occur as each cylinder fires—reducing noise, harshness, and stress on the crankshaft and belt-driven accessories.

On many 1.9 diesel engines, the damper section can deteriorate with age and heat cycles. When the rubber bonding or damper element weakens, you may notice belt squeal, wobble at idle, vibration, charging/steering issues, or repeated auxiliary belt failures. Replacing the pulley restores correct belt alignment and helps protect your engine and accessories from vibration-related wear.
