This 3-hole (3-notch) cylinder head gasket is designed for Volkswagen 1.9 Diesel (D) and 1.9 Turbo Diesel (TD) engines. With a 1.61 mm thickness, it is the thickest of the VW 1.9 diesel gasket options and must be matched correctly to piston protrusion to ensure proper compression, combustion efficiency, and long engine life.

The gasket seals the joint between the engine block and cylinder head, keeping combustion pressure, engine oil, and coolant isolated from one another.
