G3 Oil Pump - 2.0 Petrol

This high-quality oil pump with integrated surge barrier is designed as a direct replacement for a wide range of Volkswagen 2.0 petrol engines used throughout the 1990s. The oil pump is a critical engine component responsible for circulating pressurised oil throughout the lubrication system, ensuring that bearings, camshafts, crankshafts and hydraulic lifters receive the oil they need for reliable operation and long service life.

The surge barrier incorporated into this pump improves oil control during heavy acceleration, rapid braking, and high-speed cornering. By stabilising the flow of oil entering the pump gears, the surge barrier reduces the risk of oil starvation—an issue that can cause accelerated wear or serious engine damage.
