Type 25 CAT Replacement Exhaust Pipe - Waterboxer (DH, MV Engine Codes)

This catalytic converter delete / replacement pipe is fitted to Volkswagen Type 25 / T3 buses where a straight-through pipe is used in place of the catalytic converter. It is suitable for early 1900cc DH Waterboxer models (1983–1985) and later 2100cc Waterboxer models fitted with MV engines (1985–1992).

This pipe is the first section of the exhaust system, positioned directly before the rest of the exhaust, and connects the forward exhaust section to the centre/rear muffler assembly. It provides a direct exhaust gas path where a catalytic converter is not required or has been removed.

Manufactured as a direct-fit replacement pipe, it is formed to the correct length, diameter, and bends to match the original exhaust layout, ensuring proper alignment, exhaust flow, and fitment with adjoining components.

This pipe is commonly used when:

• Replacing a damaged or missing catalytic converter

• Converting to a non-catalyst exhaust setup (where legally permitted)

• Restoring non-cat factory exhaust configurations

• This pipe replaces the catalytic converter

• Exhaust gaskets, clamps, and fixings are not included and should be renewed during installation
