Type 25 Syncro Exhaust Tailpipe - Waterboxer

This replacement standard exhaust tailpipe fits to the rear muffler outlet on Volkswagen Type 25 / T3 SYNCRO models only, manufactured from 1985 to 1992 and fitted with 1900cc DF or DG and 2100cc DJ or MV Waterboxer petrol engines.

Positioned at the rear of the exhaust system, the tailpipe directs exhaust gases safely away from the vehicle while contributing to correct exhaust noise levels and overall system back pressure. Due to the four-wheel-drive drivetrain layout on SYNCRO models, this tailpipe is formed to a SYNCRO-specific shape, ensuring proper clearance and correct alignment with the rear silencer.

Manufactured as a standard mild steel replacement, this tailpipe is ideal for restoring the original exhaust configuration or replacing a corroded or damaged factory pipe. It is designed as a direct-fit replacement, aligning correctly with the SYNCRO rear muffler without modification.
