Type 25 Syncro Exhaust Manifold (Cylinder 2 To 4) - 1986-92 - Waterboxer (DG, DJ Engine Codes)

This replacement standard exhaust rear pipe is fitted between cylinders 2 and 4 on Volkswagen Type 25 / T3 SYNCRO models only, manufactured from November 1985 to July 1992 and fitted with 1900cc DG or SP and 2100cc DJ, SR or MV Waterboxer petrol engines.

Located at the rear section of the exhaust system, this pipe joins the exhaust outlets from cylinders 2 and 4 and routes exhaust gases towards the front muffler section. Due to the four-wheel-drive layout of SYNCRO models, this pipe is formed to a SYNCRO-specific shape, ensuring correct clearance around drivetrain components while maintaining proper exhaust flow and back pressure.

Manufactured as a standard mild steel replacement, this pipe is ideal for restoring the original exhaust layout or replacing corroded, cracked, or leaking factory pipes. Correct fitment at this point is essential for engine performance, exhaust sealing, and noise control on Waterboxer engines.

• Will NOT fit 2WD Type 25 / T3 models
